Join the Funders Group on Parent Organizing, Family Engagement and Leadership Development for a deep dive exploration into a recent pilot project conducted by the Greater Rochester Health Foundation, the National Parent Leadership Institute, and four diverse organizations, to embed parent voice into program and service design. This 60-minute virtual webinar discussion will cover:
How four diverse programs have teamed up with parents to embed the parent perspective into service delivery and program design, and are coming together as a learning community to share insights across their organizations
What parents from two of the parent-program teams have experienced in having a seat at the table, and what two of the parent-program teams are learning as they work together across their roles to bring about change in their communities
How these parent-program teams are pivoting and adapting in the current climate of a pandemic and nation-wide uprisings for racial justice
How funders can leverage funding and partner with parent leaders to initiate these critical partnerships that elevate and include parent voice
